Back Up Power Systems

Power is vital to any business and having backup power means that your facility will stay fully operational regardless of electrical disturbances and power outages. We offer the following backup power solutions:

Stand-by Power Systems (Essential Power)
Engine-generator backup systems are installed to protect a process from power interruptions.

UPS Protection Systems (Critical Power)
Battery or flywheel energy storage based UPS systems provide a clean, uninterruptable source of power. With UPSs, Power Conditioners, Noise Supressors and Isolation Providers we can protect voltage, power quality and load interruption.

Mission Critical Power Systems (Critical & Essential Power)
Power systems designed to ensure a reliable source of power to a data center or critical manufacturing process. System will include generation, UPS, energy storage, and any required switchgear. An integrated master control system for critical and essential loads will be provided.

Power Quality Analysis and Correction

Rodan’s power systems engineering group provides power quality related services to monitor, measure, report, analyze and assist with mitigation solutions for your facility. We utilize a variety of enterprise power quality monitoring and energy efficiency analysis tools for electric power transmission and distribution systems.

Our services include:

Analysis - To get to the root of PQ related problems, we install monitoring equipment and identify and diagnose the problems themselves to determine their root cause (whether it is from the distribution network or generated internally).

Corrective Action - Only after identifying the root cause do we propose remedial action with power factor correction technology such as harmonic filters, isolation transformers, and other equipment. Alternatively, we will work on your behalf with the distribution utility to correct persistent low voltage or phase imbalance conditions.
